This blog has been seriously deprived of posts. This is merely a small post stating that I finally own Rockband for the PS3!!!!
It started on Wednesday when I received a cheque from the government for $90.50. I instinctively thought, “Time to buy rockband”. So The following day I set out to scour cragislist, red flag deals, and kijiji for a decently priced copy of Rockband. I sent out at least 10 emails, eventually one dude replied and was selling it for $120!!!. The game retails for $169.99 ($192.xx after tax), so this was a wicked deal.
I agreed to meet the buyer today at Yorkdale. I intentionally went to bed early on Friday so that I could wake up and go buy the game. After my dad came back from getting his hair coloured we headed out to yorkdale. As soon as we hit the 401 it was backed up like crazy. People were driving up the entrance ramp to get off the highway. We saw a mercedes and some van get stuck trying to cross over a patch of grass to get back onto the right side of the road.
Anyways my dad asked if we could just do it another day but I was adamant in getting it today. After talking with the seller a little more we changed the meeting location to Yonge and Sheppard. Once my dad got off the highway we drove to Warden via Hunting wood. The crazy traffic jam was only up until Kennedy so we jumped onto the highway as soon as we passed kennedy.
After picking up the game I called Philip the moment I pulled into my driveway. He was over within minutes. We quickly went through each of the instruments to confirm they were in working order…..They were.
After playing a bit on the rockband guitar I wanted to switch to the Guitar Hero 3 guitar. Sadly though Activision (owner of Guitar hero) are punks and have refused to let Harmonix (maker of rock band) use their guitar hero guitar in Rock band. Harmonix had made a software patch to allow the use of guitar hero guitars in rock band but since Activision said no Sony is just sitting with this patch unable to deploy it.
So sadly I now have two guitars but they are both game specific which is total bullshit. If someone from Activision is reading this please give Harmonix the right to use your guitar. I want to make a 4 player rock band!
Rok band is hands down one of the greatest games I have ever played. It was mainly me Philip and Raymond playing. We each took turns plying the different instruments. It is late so I will speed this up.

Philip and I are average at all 3.
Eventually justin came he jumped into a few songs.
